03In the app
The Pebl app uses no cookies. Your settings and messages are kept on your phone, as the Privacy policy explains.
04Pebl Web
At web.pebl.im, Pebl Web keeps your session and the encryption keys that open your messages in your browser’s own database (IndexedDB). Pebl Web cannot work without it; it is never used for ads, measurement or tracking, and never shared with another site.
When you sign out, or your session is ended from another device, it is deleted from your browser. No cookies are used.
The Pebl team’s admin panel uses a single necessary cookie, only for staff sessions; it is never set for users.
05Visit logs
We do not log or count visits to pebl.im. The site’s server only sends the page you ask for; it does not write down who looked.

If we ever need a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page first and use it only with your consent.
