Not yet. We are working on the iPhone version and will announce it when it is ready.

Yes, with Pebl Web: open web.pebl.im and scan the code with Pebl on your phone, or sign in with your email and approve it on your phone. Chats are end-to-end encrypted in the browser too. It opens in one tab per browser; in another tab, “Use here” moves it over.

Pebl is not on Google Play yet; we hand out the file directly from pebl.im, so Android asks for permission once. If you downloaded it only from pebl.im, you can allow it. If Play Protect offers to scan the app, let it, then tap Install.

When a new version is out, it shows above your chats and in Settings › Version. Tap Update: Pebl downloads the file, checks that it is the one we published, and opens the installer. Your chats stay on your phone.

Open the app, type your email address, enter the code you receive and pick a username. We never ask for a phone number.

Check your spam folder first. If it doesn’t come within a few minutes, ask for a new code and make sure the address is right.

Turn it on in Settings › Privacy. Signing in on a new phone then asks for your 6-digit PIN after the email code. Even if someone gets into your email, your account stays yours.

Settings › Delete account. Once you enter the code sent to your email, it is deleted at once. If you can’t reach your phone, write to kvkk@pebl.im from your registered address; we delete it within 30 days. What goes and what stays: pebl.im/en/delete-account.

Find them by username or scan their Pebl code. Your own code is in the Contacts tab; you can also share the link pebl.im/u/yourusername.

In the chat, tap the contact’s name and choose Disappearing messages: 24 hours, 7 days or 90 days. You can set the default for new chats there too.

Yes. Hold the message, then Delete › Delete for everyone. Use the same menu to edit it.

The other person can open it once; when they close it, it’s gone. Tap the 1 icon on the photo before sending. These photos never open in Pebl Web, only in Pebl on the phone.

Hold the Send button: By bird, By plane, On foot and Normal appear, each with its estimated time.

No. Without it, an average distance (450 km) is used. If you share it, it is rounded to 5 km and shown to nobody.

At most 30 days. You can have up to 50 messages on their way at once.

Settings › Download my data. Your account, contacts and sessions come in one file.

Settings › Sessions. Remove a phone you don’t recognise right there.

Open their page and tap Block. They can no longer write to you or call you.

Allow notifications for Pebl in your phone’s settings and exclude Pebl from battery saving. Then check Settings › Notifications in Pebl.

If error reports are on, we hear about it; a report holds only the error and the phone model. If it keeps happening, write to destek@pebl.im with what you were doing.
